We are delighted to share with you our new Aberdeen City Integrated Children’s Services Plan 2017-2020.
Over almost a year we have worked with our partners, children, young people and their parents to develop a plan that best reflects their views. We have held workshops, stakeholder engagement events, focus groups and surveys to gather as broad a collection of views as possible in shaping our priorities. We have also reviewed both our immediate and extended membership to ensure that we have the right partners to deliver our proposed improvements and analysed key data to highlight important areas of focus for improvement.
Our key themes over the next three years will be:
- Closing the outcome gap for our disadvantaged children and young people;
- Improving health and wellbeing, particularly in areas such as mental health and physical activity;
- Improving community safety and the environment to make save spaces for children and young people of all ages;
- And ensuring that we engage and include children and young people in the ongoing progress and development of our work.
