Police Scotland have Youth Volunteer vacancies.
The Police Scotland Youth Volunteers [PSYV] are groups of up to 24 young people, aged 13 – 17 years old, based across Scotland. The groups are supported by adult volunteers and led by a police constable. The Youth Volunteers are involved in community and national events across Scotland. At present there are well established groups operating in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, with the Moray group due to complete their training during May.
The PSYV programme aims to strengthen the relationship with the police and young people, breaking down barriers and promoting positive role models.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining the PSYV programme in Aberdeen, please visit the Police Scotland Website for more information or contact the Aberdeen Group Coordinator, PC Nicola Gillies
This really is a great opportunity for young people from all backgrounds!
