At the national level the Early Years Collaborative and Raising Attainment for All are in the process of aligning. Both Collaboratives use the model for improvement to strengthen and build on existing services and enables us to test, measure, implement and scale up new ways of working to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. At the national level the focus is on ‘Quality Improvement through the child’s journey'.
Draft stretch aims for the aligned collaboratives were presented at Regional Events. The meetings also encouraged discussions on what is happening; what works and what doesn’t in each of the CPPs to help inform the work moving forward. The new national stretch aims will provide a measurable framework and there is a commitment to further promote the ‘all teach/all learn’ approach, which is an opportunity for practitioners from across Scotland to listen, to share, to observe and to gather knowledge from each other to take back to the workplace.
